The Neurology and Spine Clinic of Behboud Hospital, drawing on a subspecialty team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, and orthopedic spine specialists, is prepared to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients. Equipped with advanced imaging and electrodiagnostic equipment, the clinic enables accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of a wide range of conditions. Services include specialty consultation, electroencephalography (EEG), nerve conduction and electromyography (EMG-NCV) studies, spine surgery consultation, pharmacologic treatment, and rehabilitation for neurologic conditions.

At this clinic, non-surgical treatment is provided for diseases of the brain, nerves, and muscles, and disorders such as headache and vertigo, memory loss and disorders of memory, seizures and disturbances of consciousness (syncope), tingling and paresthesia of the hands and feet, low back pain, paralysis and weakness of the hands and feet, decreased or altered consciousness, body tremor or slowed movement, sleep disorders, and neurologic conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, meningitis, neuropathy, myopathy, and Parkinson’s disease. In specific cases requiring surgery, patients are referred to a surgeon.

Outpatient consultations, collaboration with the hospital’s electroencephalography (EEG) unit for in-hospital and outside referrals, collaboration with the hospital’s electrodiagnostic (EMG-NCV) unit, and neurology consultations across various wards and the emergency department are among the activities of the hospital’s neurology specialists.

For the convenience of patients, the clinic operates in two shifts, morning and afternoon.
