The Emergency Department of Behboud Specialty and Subspecialty Hospital, with more than two decades of distinguished experience, is located on the ground floor of the hospital and covers an area of more than 4,500 square meters. Staffed by an experienced and committed team alongside emergency medicine specialists and general practitioners, the unit is prepared to provide medical services to patients and the injured around the clock. Equipped with advanced medical technology and operated under the supervision of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in the form of a cooperative company, the department functions in line with high humanitarian values.
The department comprises two main units: the Acute Care Unit (for emergency patients) and the Outpatient Services Unit.
Acute Care Unit (Acute Observation)
This unit is designed for the admission and treatment of emergency patients with triage levels 1, 2, and 3 (those requiring immediate intervention). After initial measures and stabilization, patients are discharged, admitted, or transferred to other centers based on their condition.

- Acute observation unit
- Triage room
- Resuscitation room (CPR)
- 13 fully equipped inpatient beds
- Pediatric observation room
- Isolation room
- Dedicated emergency laboratory
- Casting room
- Emergency operating room (for trauma patients, organ injuries, etc.)
Advanced Equipment
Portable radiology, echocardiography, ultrasonography, cardiac monitoring, and other modern devices for rapid diagnosis and treatment are based in this unit.
Emergency Outpatient Services Unit
This unit, with 10 beds and supervised by general practitioners, provides diagnostic and outpatient therapeutic services to emergency patients with triage levels 4 and 5, as well as patients referred by physicians outside the hospital.

- Biopsy
- Cast application and removal

- Suturing and suture removal
- Phlebotomy (bloodletting)
- Ear piercing
- Injections for special patients (by prior arrangement)
- Urinary catheterization
- Spirometry (pulmonary function test)
- Vision testing and pediatric eye screening
