Labor and Delivery Unit (LDR)

The Labor and Delivery Unit (LDR — labor, delivery, and recovery), with a built area of 400 square meters, is located on the first floor of the hospital’s new building. With easy access via a main staircase, four elevators, and an emergency stairway, the unit provides a safe and calm environment for mothers.

Advanced Facilities and Equipment

• 3 fully equipped delivery (gynecology) beds for specialized services
• One isolated LDR unit for mothers requiring special care
• Delivery and observation units fully equipped for monitoring mother and neonate
• Free delivery kits with disposable sets and hygiene items, provided to mothers on admission
• Free nutrition packages for mothers undergoing normal vaginal delivery (NVD) on arrival

Specialized Services and 24/7 Support

With a team of more than 60 specialists and experienced midwifery staff, the unit is prepared to serve expectant mothers around the clock, every day of the week. The presence of a resident gynecologist and an on-call neonatal specialist alongside support personnel ensures the highest level of care.

• A specialized neonatal CPR team with advanced training is available 24 hours a day for emergency intervention.

Physiologic Childbirth and Pain Reduction Methods

The unit gives mothers the opportunity to experience a natural and memorable childbirth accompanied by trained companions. Educational classes on physiologic childbirth are held on designated days. To reduce pain, two approaches are offered:

• Non-pharmacological: aromatherapy, exercise, and other methods.
• Pharmacological: epidural anesthesia in collaboration with anesthesia and obstetrics specialists.

Free Education and Counseling

• Free breastfeeding classes: daily at 10:30 a.m. in person at the midwifery unit.
• Natural childbirth counseling center: answering questions and guiding mothers, provided by experienced specialists.
• Post-discharge follow-up of mothers up to 42 days after delivery, with answers and guidance provided in the midwifery unit.

Costs and Special Amenities

• Cost of normal delivery: completely free.
• Private midwife and companion: if desired, private midwives and trained companions are available 24 hours a day.
